Would You cop The Yeezy boost 700 VX?

At the end of last year, Kanye West stepped out in a pair of mysterious chunky sneakers, dubbed the Yeezy boost 700 VX. The brainchild of Yeezy design director Steven Smith and legendary footwear designer Christian Tresser, these sneakers are unlike anything we’ve seen before. While no official release info has been given just yet, it begs the question, would you cop the Yeezy boost 700 VX?!

Surfacing in both neon green and ‘Triple Black’ colourways, the 700 VX is dressed in neoprene across its entire upper. Down below, an aggressively sculpted midsole is present that’s reminiscent of the current 700, complete with the signature ovals around the heel. This unit houses a full length bed of boost for astounding comfort with every step.

Of course, the first thing you’ll notice about this silhouette is the enormous “700”; that graces the lateral and medial side panels. Normally, Kanye is quite conservative when it comes to branding, so this is a substantial departure from his usual aesthetic. In fact, the closest thing we can compare it to is the “SPLY-350”; text that graced earlier Yeezy boost 350 V2 colourways.

To round off the design, the 700 VX is fitting with thick rope laces and a subtle pull tab around the heel for added convenience. There’s also a bunch of 3M detailing thrown into the upper so you’ll be seen even under low-light conditions.

At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the Yeezy boost 700 VX. A shoe that was gifted to American rapper 6ix9ine’s manager from Kanye himself, be sure to keep it locked at The Sole supplier for more release info as it develops! let us know if you’d cop a pair, and while you’re here, take a look at the full adidas sneaker range!
